Just posting a new idea. The concept for the island is eco/green tourism. Why not make the housing green - literally make it green covering it with plants so much so that is is hardly noticeable. From this greenery we may then get glimpses of the action below. Like the shark fin protruding from the water - we get a glimpse but not the whole story.
May be a silly idea - feel free to be a harsh critic!
